Canadian Geese at Warrenton, Oregon wetland

Photograph taken about 8 am on a beautiful crisp March 1, 2012 coastal morning with a dusting of snow. The wetlands lay around the malls along Highway 101 in Warrenton, and may have been created or enhanced by the nearby businesses or by the developers. Snow at the Coast is rare. Canadian geese are swimming out into the wetland. Ducks are stirring from their rest at the base of the grasses.
