Mallards greet the day in Warrenton wetlands

Photograph taken about 8 am on a beautiful crisp March 1, 2012 coastal morning with a dusting of snow. The wetlands lay around the malls along Highway 101 in Warrenton, Oregon, and may have been created or enhanced by the stores and hotels there. Snow is rare at the Coast.
